I started by sketching out some basic shapes and body types that I wanted to incorporate into my design. I then took out my trusty needle and thread and proceeded to sew body parts. I carefully constructed the head, arms and legs, taking extreme care in creating a properly proportioned doll. Once I finished sewing the body, it was time to paint the face and finish the look. I used vibrant colors to make my doll standout from any other dolls around.The next day, the girl and her parents returned to the now charred remains of their house, and to her surprise, the ball jointed doll was still intact amidst the destruction. It had survived the fire because of its special stitching, which allowed it to deflect the heat of the fire.
